He also won “Optimum” (conformation horse champion) in Münster 1990, Körung I-A Main Premium in Oldenburg 1990, Bundeschampionat Reserve/Vice Champion 6-year-old dressage horse in Verden 1992... Then came (40?) Grand Prix victories (many of them under Martina Hannöver), he was a 1996 Olympic participant (under Heike Kemmer)... He was sire of 89 States Premium mares, over 300 mares registered in various German studbooks, 66 approved stallions (including Rohdiamant, Regazzoni, Rubirando, and Rotspon), award winning foals, top selling auction horses, approvals champions, performance test champions, riding-horse and grand prix champions... “Rubinstein progeny are especially prized for their trainability... Sire's sire: Rosenkavalier HLP Champion (127.10 overall, 1st of 12), top Westphalian stallion, considered Romadour II's best son and “successor to the throne of the Westphalian ‘R’ line. He heralded in a new age of dressage horse breeding.”

Sire's dam: Antine, bred by Herbert de Baey, was full sister of Ahlerich II (Olympic medalist in dressage under Reiner Klimke: individual gold 1984 Los Angeles, team gold 1984 Los Angeles, team gold 1988 Seoul), and Amon (3 time Olympic competitor under Annemarie Sanders-Keyzer). Antine's full sister Adone, is dam of Rembrandt “Dressage Horse of the Century” (World Cup, European & German Champion as well as Olympic medalist individual gold 1988 Seoul, team gold 1988 Seoul, individual gold 1992 Barcelona, team gold 1992 Barcelona, under Nicole Uphoff), and the approved stallions Royal Angelo I & II. Antine also produced the approved stallions Rubinstein II & III, Rubinstein I's full brothers.

Dam: Kim, a States Premium mare, also produced Rubin Magic's full siblings: the very successful dressage stallion Rosenthal (USEF #1 Dressage Sire 2007) and the States Premium Mare applicant Rubinie.

Dam's sire: Karon was bred by Otto Langels and born at Gestüt Hämelschenburg. At the Körung 1983 Neumünster was awarded “First Premium.” Was best Trakehner at his HLP in Adelheidsdorf 1985, he scored 138.06 (2nd) in dressage, 94.71 (34th) in jumping, and 129.02 (5th of 56) overall, achieved “Class I” status for his oustanding paces and high rideability. At the Trakehner 1st National Stallion Show (Bundeshengstschau), Verden 1985 was again awarded “Premium” status. He was successful in dressage (under Otto Langels and Detlef Nesemann) up to the Class S-Intermediaire level. Karon stood at the Trakehner stud in Hämelschenburg 1984-1988, then at Oldenburg's Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln until his accidental death in 1990. In his first season at stud, Karon produced the outstanding stallion and hereditary transmitter Caprimond... Karon's offspring have been successful in dressage up to Grand Prix.

Dam's sire's sire: Arogno legendary dressage sire, Elite stallion, Körung Reserve/Vice Champion 1978 Neumünster, awarded Class I at his HLP 1979 Adelheidsdorf, Trakehner “Stallion of the Year” in 1996. Arogno was “extremely typey and passed on this good type and excellent dressage suitability to his offspring.”... Dam's dam's sire: Wörmann was an outstanding post WWII Hanoverian Stallion, “the new measuring-stick for type, riding oriented outline and construction, but particularly in movement - his elastic, rhythmic and elevated trot was unseen before.” He is the best son and primary source of his sire Wöhler's valuable blood in modern sport-horses, especially via stallion sons such as Wenzel I, World Cup I, and grandson Weltmeyer. His sire Wöhler was important as the founder of a internatonally recognized highly sucessful dressage line.

Dam's dam's dam: Lorette descends from the stallions Lombard, Marmor and Diskant, all from the Landgestüt Celle's Station Ihlienworth, in one of the oldest and most popular breeding regions of the Hanoverian Horse: “Land Hadeln.”

Dam's dam's dam's sire: Lombard ia a descendant of the “L - Der Löwe” Line via his sire, the main source of Der Löwe's genic influence today, Lugano II. Although Lombard is known more as a sire of showjumpers, he also transmits dressage talent as seen in offspring such as Lortzing (Olympic Festival team silver, LA 1994, etc.) and Lanthan (a hugely popular state stallion with successful offspring in all disciplines), and in grandchildren such as Gifted (1992 Olympic team bronze under Carol Lavell).
