Ritual has established himself as a foundation sire and proven to be an outstanding sire of type of the very highest class. Year in and year out, the offspring of this bay stallion dominate the foal auctions and foal shows at home and abroad. Meanwhile this highly sought after sire has presented a number of state premium mares and 14 approved sons in Germany and neighboring countries. Of these, Rickmer and Rhytmo had series wins in showjumping competitions and qualified for the Federal German Showjumping Championships in 1994 and are meanwhile successful at advanced class. Renaissance became the “Grand Champion” of all European stallions in the USA in 1993. Ritus DK and Ritual's Rivale DK have caused a stir in competition sport. Ritual's first crop under the Holstein brand produced the winning mare of the 1996 Breitenburg Show, Ria Italia. The FN-breeding value rating lists Ritual with a high jumping value, which arrays him at the apex of younger German producers of showjumpers.

Ramiro Z / Der Löwe xx / Amselkönig II

The combination between the world-famous Ramiro and Hannover's legendary thoroughbred sire Der Löwe xx is unique.

Sire: Ramiro Z “Stallion of the Century,” and “King of Sires.” “When Ramiro was presented for selection, he was described as the ideal type of the modern Holsteiner - strongly imprinted by his dam, tall and elegant, showing the top line of his grandfather, Cottage Son xx, with powerful frame, a glorious face and large, clear eyes. His excellently formed neck, beautifully set, could still be seen, even when he was an old horse, and are stamped on his progeny.” He stood in Westfalia, Holstein, Zangersheide and Holland; was KWPN Horse of the Year in 1992. “Sublime” offspring include many approved stallions and great sporthorses. One of his most famous daughters was Ratina Z, “Mare of the Century” and “The Dream of the Showjumping World,” who won countless awards including Gold medals at both the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and the World Cup in 1993. Some of Ramiro's earliest offspring include the mare Fatinitza (outstanding showjumper and dam of Almiro Z), and the stallions Rinaldo, Rio Negro (grand prix dressage) and Ronald (Holstein's most popular stallion for 4 years). “During his own sporting career, Ramiro Z had numerous wins at all levels of show jumping - Nations Cups, Puissance (jumping over 2.2 metre!) and in international Grand Prix competition.”

Ramiro's dam Valine represents the Holstein Stamm 776 (one of their most valuable bloodlines going back to Achill and Edelbert). “Valine aquired international fame as a showjumper by the name of Corrale under Lutz Gossing. She is a daughter of the reputable thoroughbred Cottage Son, who became famous through his son Consul.”

Dam sire: Der Löwe xx is probably the most important improvement sire in Hannover. He mainly sired dressage horses some of which are Liostro, Leoparde, Löwenstern, Lucky Boy, and La Paloma. He also sired advanced show jumpers.
