Le Grand III is athletic with great elegant form. He began his career as stallion in Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar and right away produced a champion in dressage and jumping tests and a states premium mare. His offspring gave him a breeding index of 130 in jumping. With Thomas Brandt, Le Grand III made wins and high placements up to Class-M in sports. Le Grand III also had many great sporting successes in 1999... During his standing in RPS, Le Grand III viele Sportnachkommen Zw. 121. A descendant earned 100,000 DM in the USA with its first foal crop which is characterized by much type, nobility and movement.

Sire: Lord is a world famous sire. HLP champion in 1969. He became a foundation sire for Holstein, one of their best sires of jumping horses. In 1989 he was #9 in West German top sires list. He was one of Holstein's best sires of jumping horses, his offspring achieved countless outstanding international successes.

Dam's sire: Ronald ...another well known sire.

Dam: Oregon also produced 1998's best halfblood mare Milva I (from Barnaul xx), as well as Le Grand III's full brothers Le Grand I (successful in S-Dressage), Le Grand II (successful in S-Jumping under Carsten-Otto) and the sporthorse Bonanza (of the Herz Stables)

The dam's line is the famous Stamm 730B which is also represented by many great stallions such as Carpaccio (HLP Champion, Bundeschampionat, #1 in FN breeding rankings), Lagerfield, Coronado, Caletto I (World Bronze under Michael Rüping, #5 in WBFSH), Caletto II (HLP champion 1980), Caletto III (intl. showjumper), Lysander (HLP champion), Gonzales (showjumper), Merlin (best Holsteiner stallion 1970), Lambadero, Lentigo, Mabuse, Mambo, Flacon, Cardinal, Romedio (in Australia), Montanus, Sandro (important foundation sire), South Pacific (in North America), Loran (HLP Champion). Stamm 730B also represents the top sporthorses: Cordeka (Herbert Blöcker), Landrätin (Hauke Luther), Venetia (1972 Olympics under Josef Neckermann), etc. and great mare lines such as those of Rhea and Deka.
