Sherry Hill is our resident Hunter-Jumper at Gatewood Farms, Cordele, Georgia - experienced in both Cross Country and Show Jumping. Sherry trained for 2 years with Olympic coach Peter Gray, and for 6 years with Julie Gomena (spring 1994 Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event winner) in Middleburg, Virginia. She has been very successful in Advanced Level Jumping, and was long-listed in 2002 for the Olympics Canadian Eventing team. Contact Sherry at 229-322-3766 (blondehilly@yahoo.com) 2007 - Training with showjumper Mariano Bedoya. 2004 - Worked and trained with Neil Morris, Top Steeplechase trainer in America, at Kinross Farm, Virginia, USA. (Kinross Farm is a well known 500-acre high-tech state-of-the-art Thoroughbred facility). 2003 - Trained with Stuart Black, a Canadian Olympic 3-Day Event rider. 2000-2003 - Trained with Julie Gomena, an American Event rider and a Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event winner. 1998-1999 - Trained with Peter Grey who was the Canadian Olympic 3-Day Event Team coach. Started riding at age 10. Was an active member of the Temiskaming Pony Club, in Ontario, Canada for over 12 years, achieving her B Level rating. Was a member of the 1998 Ontario Young Riders Team. Continued Eventing up to the Advanced Level with her horse “Rhymer,” and in 2002 was long-listed for the Canadian Eventing Team. Is currently training with Argentinian showjumper Mariano Bedoya who trains out of Bullneck Barn in Leary, Georgia. |
